I liked someones post on Facebook this afternoon for someone to tell me “a word that describes me.”
The word they wrote was hysterical.
For those of you who don’t know what this word mean, here’s the definition.
”unmanageable emotional excesses. People who are “hysterical” often lose self-control.” (Wikipedia)
When I saw this my entire stomach sunk. And I began to sob. It absolutely killed me. And even worse someone liked it. Which only made me wonder how many people feel the same way.
I eventually ended up just falling asleep because crying really exhausts me. When I woke up I just sat there and thought this..
People are going to say so many things to you. People that don’t even know you. They are going to assume things and they are going to hurt you. But so what. Keep moving forward, maybe you have fallen and some people can’t let it go and hold it against you. And maybe for some people thats what they will label you. But keep going, because a label means nothing. What people call you means nothing. But who you are means something. That strength you have in you means something.
You are more than these words that people say.
Don’t let anyone tell you different.
Don’t feel bad for who you are. You were made that way. Don’t feel bad for how you feel, for any pain you feel. Because it makes you grow. Don’t be ashamed of who you are because this world needs people like you.
Don’t run from change, because change may be just what you need to get back up again.
You’re beautiful, just the way you are.
